Lagos Not Planning To Ban 'Danfo'

Mr. Lanrewaju Elegushi, Lagos State acting Commissioner for Transport, said that the state ministry of transport are not planning to ban 'Danfo' but rather upgrade them to international standard

Elegushi made this disclosure in Lagos on Tuesday during a stakeholder’s forum to deduce a way to improve the transport system in the state and meet international standard.

He said “We are changing the face of the transport system in Lagos State with fully air-conditioned buses, charging port, CCTV and other infrastructure for the benefit of commuters.” He further disclosed that standard bus terminus will be built the state.

The acting commissioner appealed to the stakeholders to make judicious use of the new bus terminal at TBS.
