19-Year Old University Student Hangs Self Over Examination Failure [Photo]

A first year petrochemical student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana, Adwoa Agyekwa Anyimadu Antwi 19, has committed suicide by hanging herself in her hostel.

According to her colleagues, Agyekwa left behind a suicide note which reads “I am sorry to disappoint you."

Her colleagues revealed that they attended lectures on Friday and only returned to meet her dangling from the ceiling.

A friend said, "Since Monday, she has been complaining of a trail in particular course after results of last semester were released."

The police in Ghana have since confirmed the incident saying investigations into the circumstances surrounding her death have since commenced.
