Tet Fund Special Intervention To Be Excluded In 2017

Past abuses of Tertiary Education Trust Fund's special intervention has led President Muhammadu Buhari to exclude it in 2017.

Abdullahi Baffa, the Executive Secretary, TETFund said this on Monday in Abuja while briefing journalists on the intervention funds approved by the federal government for tertiary institutions.

Mr. Baffa said the approved N213.4 billion for the schools for 2016 are to be utilized in  2017.

Mr. Baffa said abuse of fund  led President Buhari to exclude special interventions while approving 2017 intervention budget.

He also said there will soon be investigation on how previous funds were managed and culprits will be brought to book.
