Ranier's Emotional Speech After Dismissal From Leicester City

Claudio Ranieri speaks for the first time after his dismissal from Leicester City saying the club will always be in his heart.

He said his dream died with the sack. 

According to him, after the euphoria of last season and being crowned Premier League Champions, all he dreamt of was staying with Leicester City, the club he loves. Unfortunately that will not be.

He wishes  to thank his wife Rosanna and all his family for their persistent support during his time at Leicester. He also thank Paolo and Andrea who accompanied him on the wonderful journey and to Steve Kutner and Franco Granello for bringing him the opportunity to be champion.

He also thank all the journalists and the media who came and enjoyed reporting on the greatest story in football.

His heartfelt thanks to everybody at the club, players, staff, everybody who was part of the achievement especiallly the supporters who took him into their hearts from day one and loved me. 

He said, "No one can ever take away what we together have achieved, and I hope you think about it and smile every day the way I always will"

"It was a time of wonderfulness and happiness that I will never forget. It's been a pleasure and an honour to be a Champion with all of you," he added.
