PHOTOS: NLC, TUC On Peaceful Protest To Aso Rock
The Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) on Thursday staged a peaceful protest to the presidential villa, Abuja.
The President of the NLC, Ayuba Wabba, who addreses the protesters before the start of the protest said: "it is criminal" for government not to pay salary and pensions.
Wabba stated that the demand for an increase in minimum wage for workers "is non-negotiable".
"There is absence of good governance and we are at the receiving end. So, we are marching for good governance," the NLC President added.
