Pastor Sentenced To 20 Years In Jail For Raping 13-Year Old Daughter Of His Friend [Photo]

For raping a 13-year old daughter of his friend, a  pastor at Domeabra near Pokuase in the Ga West District of the Greater Accra Region, Ghana, Vincent Kete has been sentenced to 20 years in prison with hard labour.

Pastor Kete pleaded guilty to defiling the daughter of his friend of 25 years.

Police prosecutor, Inspector Kofi Atimbiri told an Accra Circuit Court that the accused called the victim to his room on Tuesday, February 7 and had unlawful carnal knowledge of her.

It was reported that the accused and the victim’s father, as friends, lived in a single room in a mission house of their church.

Pastor Vincent told the court that his action was the work of the devil and does not know what came over him.

The presiding judge, Abena Oppong Adjin-Doku, sentenced Vincent on his own plea.
