Man Sets Ex-Girlfriend's Property On Fire After She Quits Relationship

A middle age man, Ridwan Oladiran has set is his ex-girlfriend, Motunrayo Ajibola's property on fire in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital over the latter's decision to quit the relationship.

Oladiran had gone to the lady’s residence in the morning to set her mattress and clothes ablaze, a situation that made residents to believe that the lady was caught in the fire that they saw raging in her room.

Nigerian Tribune reports that Ajibola decided to quit the relationship on grounds of maltreatment and physical abuse.

The lady was said to have told the police that she lost her one month pregnancy to Oladiran's beatings.

The police Public Relations Officer, Adekunle Ajisebutu, a Superintendent of Police, confirmed the incident but said that the suspect is at large.

Ajisebutu said, efforts were on to arrest the suspect.
