Drama As 22-Year Old Married Woman Dates Rapist For More Sex
A 22-year-old rape victim, Talent Zvenyika, stunned a magistrate court in Chivhu, Zimbabwe when she told the court to withdraw a rape charge against a man, William Chiocha, with claims that she has been sleeping with the man on several occasions after the rape incident.
Zvenyika shocked the court after she asked for the withdrawal of the charge against 38-year old Chiocha who allegedly raped her on two different occasions last year.
Zvenyika stated that she had fallen in love with Chiocha after the rape incidences and enjoyed sexual consensual intercourse and had asked each other for forgiveness.
Zvenyika while speaking about the rape incidences in court said:
"I am not the one who reported the case to the police. Although I did not consent on the first and second times, we later on indulged in consensual sexual intercourse on several other instances after we asked each other for forgiveness for previous cases. We are now in love and therefore the case can be withdrawn."
Chiocha was set free after Magistrate Fadzai Mutombeni withdrew the case.
