75-Year Old Woman Raped And Murdered

A 75-year-old woman Joseph Njoroge, in Kenya has been murdered after she wassexually abused in Mai Mahiu, Naivasha area.

Residents of were left in shock after the body of the granny was found dumped by the roadside near her home in Muniu village.

The woman who had a wound on her head when the police came to collect the corpse was suspected to have been killed with the aid of a blunt object.

Njoroge according to a resident had been living alone.

The source said, "From the look of things, the woman was sexually abused before she was murdered either by strangling or by a blow to the head."

Zachariah Igaria, area chief said, the body had been collected and police had commenced investigations.
