45-Year Old Man Rapes 80-Year Old Woman

Lawrence Adedapo, a 45 year old commercial driver  has been sentenced to seven years imprisonment by an Ado Ekiti High Court for raping an 80-year-old woman, Madam Grace Asaol.

Adedapo sexually assaulted the old woman on November 7, 2013, at Oke Erimope Street, Ogbese, Ise-Ekiti in Ise/Orun Local Government Area of Ekiti State and was charged to court subsequently though he pleaded not guilty to the charge.

He claimed that the old woman is his concubine since his bachelor years and that the victim framed him up that he seduced him to having sex with hr after he had given her N1,000 she demanded for to travel to her village

In the judgement, Justice Dele Omotoso convicted Adedapo based on the evidence before the court, which he said showed that the driver forcefully had a carnal knowledge of the old woman..

Consequently, he sentenced him to a jail term of seven years for unlawfully carnal knowledge of the old woman.
