Scores Killed In Fresh Southern Kaduna Crisis

About 21 persons have been reportedly murdered in villages in Kaura and Jema’a Local Government Areas in southern Kaduna State.

The gunmen were suspected to be Fulani herdsmen.

On Sunday and Monday, houses were set ablaze in Ashim, Nissi and Zilan in Atakad District, Kaura Local Government and Bakin Kogi in Goska District of Jama’a Local Government.

According to eye witness, Ashim, Nissi and Zilan attacks took place at about 6.00pm where 15 houses were lost and 50 houses were burnt

While attack on Bakin Kogi occurred on Sunday at about 5:00pm, claiming seven lives; many houses were set ablaze.
