The Wages Of Kidnapping In Lagos Is Now Death

Lagos State governor, Akinwunmi Ambode yesterday signed the the anti -kidnapping bill recently passed by the Lagos State House of Assembly into law, with a vow to ensure it's full implementation.
The law stipulates a penalty of life in jail on kidnapping for ransom while death of victim during kidnap attracts death penalty.
According to the governor, the law has become imperative in view of the continuous increase in the rate of kidnapping in the state.
Ambode said the state was also putting appropriate measures in place to prevent kidnapping and other security breaches in the schools and other vulnerable targets.
