Lagos Electricity Distribution Company Staff Beaten Blue-Black For Distributing Bills Without Constant Power Supply

For allegedly beating one Ms Enyi Eunice, a staff of Ikeja Electricity Distribution blue black, a 40-year old man, Ozoigbo Ikenna, was on Wednesday arraigned before an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court over one count charge of assault.
The prosecutor, Cpl. Ishola Samuel, told the court that the accused beat up Ms Enyi Eunice January 20 while she was distributing electricity bills at Williams Eliot St. New Oko-Oba area, Lagos leaving her with a black eye
Cpl Samuel said, "The accused, locked the entrance gate, deprived her of going outside and beat up the complainant for bringing an electricity bill without a constant light."
Magistrate, Mr A.R. Onilogbo who presided over the case, granted the accused bail in the sum of N10,000, with two sureties in like sum.
The accused pleased not guilty to the charge. The case was adjourned till February 22, 2017 for mention.
