JUST IN: Alison-Madueke Forfeits N34bn To FG
A Lagos Federal High Court has ordered former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke, to forfeit about N34bn to the Federal Government.
Breakdown of the illegal funds linked to Alison-Madueke according to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, include, N23.4bn, N9.08bn and $5m.

Justice Muslim Hassan had on January 6, 2017 issued an interim forfeiture order on the funds and gave a “final forfeiture order” during Thursday court proceedings.
The EFCC was able to convince the judge that the huge funds were proceeds of illegal activity.
