Cameroon Wins 2017 AFCON Finals In A Come Back

The 2017 Africa Cup of Nations ended in Gabon on Sunday with Cameroon coming behind to defeat Egypt 2-1.

The Pharaos of Egypt had led the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon with a goal in the first half, courtesy of a shot by Mohamed Elneny.

The Lions, however, came back with a goal from Nicolas N'Koulou in the 59th minute of the encounter.

  

Two minutes to regulation time, Substitute Vincent Aboubakar got the Cameroonians their winning goal.

Sunday's encounter was the Pharaoh's Ninth AFCON Final. The two teams have met thrice in the finals of the AFCON.
