BREAKING: We Do Not Know When Buhari Will Return - Senate

The Nigerian Senate on Tuesday disclosed that it did not know when President Muhammadu Buhari will return from his vacation.

The spokesman of the Senate, Senator Abdulahi Sabi, who disclosed this to reporters on Tuesday said the Senate received President Buhari's letter of extension of vacation. 

He, however, said the President did not indicate the date for his resumption in the  letter.

Senator Sabi said:

"We can now confirm to you that we are in possession of Mr. President’s letter to extend his vacation in order to complete and receive the results of a series of test recommended by his doctors."

President Buhari had written to the National Assembly on January 19, notifying the lawmakers of his desire to proceed on a 10-day leave, to return on February 6.
