Iran is in the process of banning US citizens from entry the country in response to President Donald Trump's executive order restricting the movement of Iranians and citizens of 8 other major-Muslim countries into the US.

An Iranian Foreign Ministry statement released on Saturday described the US ban as "an obvious insult to the Islamic world and in particular to the great nation of Iran."
