Islamic Cleric Who Married 97 Wives Is Dead

Mohammed Masaba who married 97 wives is dead. The Islamic cleric reportedly died at his residence in Efu Nakodi, Bida, Niger State on Saturday afternoon.

The personal Assistant to the polygamist, Mutairu Bello, while confirming the incident said, “With gratitude to God, we announce the death of Mohammed Abubakar Bello, this afternoon. He was aged 93 years. He died after a brief illness."

Bello added that the deceased knew his death was near and was prepared for it.
