Taxi Driver Slapped Into Coma For Celebrating President Buhari's Rumoured Death

For celebrating the rumour of President Muhammadu Buhari's death, a driver in Delta state was yesterday slapped into coma by a 41-year-old man identified as Usman Bukar. Bukar claims he hails from Kano.

The driver's claim that President Buhari is dead was said to have angered Bukar who slapped the driver until he lost consciousness.

Two online platforms had last week reported the alleged death of President Buhari, a development described as ordinary rumour by the Presidency.

The Delta State Police Command spokesperson, Andrew Aniamaka confirmed the incident. He noted that Bukar is in custody while the victim is receiving treatment at a private hospital where he was rushed to.
